FrontFlip Gift Interaction
I get a lot of use out of FrontFlip, but the app is horrendous...
One of my least favorite parts of the app is opening a gift. Currently the app covers the screen in what is supposed to look like wrapping paper and you have to wipe it all off - which takes forever and never works properly.
I wanted to keep the action more enjoyable and playful than just tapping an "open" button, but much faster than wiping the entire screen.
I made this interaction concept as part of a full redesign of the FrontFlip iOS app. I'll post more of it later.
Edit: I built this using Quartz Composer using origami. If I could do it over again I'd build it in Framer.js instead, but I had hardly used Framer when I made this a couple months ago and I was pretty familiar with QC

Sometimes You Just Need A...
Had lots of fun with this personal ”away form the screen” project. A good reminder that it’s all about the process and breaking your design or routine sometimes to reconstruct a new and hopefully better one.

As you can see (or can´t if danish language isn´t your strong side) in this animation, their product will be focusing on finding the right choice for you, if you´re looking for carpenter, painter or maybe a hairdresser.

In this example, long pressing 'add opponent' brings up your recents. The add icon follows your finger as you drag to choose.

Material Design+Dynamic Color with Framer.js
Material Design + Dynamic Color
I did extra work on prototyping Material Design. This time it's dynamic color. I used colorthief.js to actually get real-time key color from given image.
Things to note :
- extracting key color using colorthief.js
- Audioplayer that actually plays music (won't play on interactive version for copyright issue)
- Neat ripple effect on shuffle button! ;-)
