It's not entirely centered as an experiment to make it look more realistic-ish. However, the final version was spinning without lateral movements.

Aerium — Intro GIF
Context:
The app has some serious API going on and when starting the app, the launch screen stays forever. The idea behind this simple animation was to complete somehow that time with something that doesn't look blocked.
And yes, I've been trying out Pixate for the past five hours after having a fun design meeting with the talented @[286289:Sam Nissinen].
