Black Eye
The client was trying to get away from the implications of their name (goody-goody, too saccharine) so I took this in a much more cynical direction.
The idea was for them to own their name in a different way and celebrate "the fight". Sort of how a boxer celebrates his broken nose or a hockey player celebrates a lost tooth. The other level was that this is a production company, so the eye seemed to be fitting.
In the end, it was too cynical for the client and without the story of the fight, it does just seem to be an eye.
I still really loved this direction.
The chosen concept is very dope though, so looking forward to showing it to you all when it's done.
