Dribbble iOS App - Shot Detail Flow
Here's a short look at my idea of how the Dribbble iOS app might take you from home screen feed all the way to the details of an individual shot.
My primary goal for this exploration was to maintain appropriate context through the experience. By using the card UI when initially tapping on a shot it feels like you haven't yet left the main feed, but are able to take a closer look at the shot you're interested in. I don't love that the current feed feels like the Instagram layout where you view one post at a time. I wanted to find a way to show a more populated grid of shots, but allow the shot details to still be easily accessible. The contextual card UI bridges this gap.
I didn't think, however, that the card was the best way to handle all of the information that comes along with a shot. To include comments, tags, and color palette felt like too much, so I designed the card to act like a preview where it shows a larger image, provides the ID of the creator, basic interaction options, and the caption. To see the rest of the shot's details all you have to do is swipe up to scroll! The expected interaction to swipe to see more below the fold will transform the card into its own screen where the rest of the information is viewable and full interaction with the shot is possible. At this point you've left the original context of the main feed and have dug one level deeper into the shot of your choice. To get back, all you have to do is tap the 'back' arrow at the top and you're taken to the feed where you began.

Calories Counter
Counting calories might not be hard work but it’s extremely annoying and a chore, especially when you’re already concerned with a diet. That’s why we’ve developed an app that makes all the minute tasks of dieting easy.
The main screen here presents all daily parameters that you must account for when dieting: caloric intake; proteins, fats, carbohydrates; number of meals; products consumed etc. You can easily put in your current meal ingredient by ingredient and see how many calories it brought. Moreover, every day a new recipe pops up on the main screen to help you with the diet and diversify your meals.
The app also tracks your weight and the amount of water that you consume so you can check your weight loss (in the weight log section). And don’t worry about your favorite recipe not being in the program. With a database of over 2 million products, you’ll surely find what you need while the “Add product” feature lets you put in any foodstuffs that we’ve overlooked. Plus, you can log whole recipes and even favorite them if it’s something you eat often.
Our app makes dieting as simple as can be!
