Recording GIF
After two days into finding my ways around in After Effects, this is an interaction GIF I came up with for an upcoming app. This interaction allows users to record a voice memo. The steps can be broken down as below:
1. User taps on Add Voice Memo, record button appears
2. Tap to start recording
3. Recording, tap to stop recording
4. Done. User can now review the voice memo or retake a new one
I'm definitely looking to dive deeper into AE, it's definitely a killer when it comes to getting the interactions right :)
Sign Up Flow (video)
I have been working on Sphere application for the last 8 months. The app has been live almost 3 months and was featured by Apple several times. We've got a great design and and its implementation. I would like to share with you a few ideas that we were able to test. We built a cool sign up screen which now gives us 84% conversion rate. We used metaforms of access cards that can be used for authentication. And here what we've got. Full video https://vimeo.com/74602184

Tweak [gif]
(hit the 2x)
This is a "Tweak" icon designed to function as an app icon, a "loading" graphic, and as a very small animated UI component. That's why the proportions of the details are over-the-top, it needs to be recognizable down to a very low resolution. I'm attaching 4 additional animated sizes that will be used in different situations (when the smaller ones are actually implemented they'll have no background or drop-shadow, so even that 50x50 pixels one should be usable). Also attached is a 1600x1200 version for fun.
