If you have a moment, this is a must read.

Here is a bit of background story for y'all:
When I first started at my current job, our CTO and I are working on improving SecCasts—our free security training screencasts.
One day, for some reason, I looked at the logo and thought "I wonder what can I do to animate this thing?" So I went and spent about 2 hours playing experimenting, and this is the end product that came out of it.
(See the gray bar underneath it? I have to admit I lost the source file. This is just a gif recording of, uhm, another gif. GIFCEPTION!)
Working on a new feed design for Snapd that incorporates a square format.
What i really love though is the idea for a new share animation which you can see in the gif. I want to spend more time around what happens after if you scroll again they disappear but if you tap one what happens animation wise.
Hope you enjoy and feedbacks welcome.

Early iterations of the loader from the super swell @[56838:Matt Johnson]. We ultimately decided to move away from the "typewriter" effect, but we really enjoyed animating the chat bubble and the transition into the final resolve.
It is always such a pleasure to be able to work with close friends. I've found that working closely with friends whom happen to be super talented always raises the bar. There is also a wonderful growth that comes out of the collaboration.
This shot is of the real coded app. I built it with HTML5/CSS3/JS and then used a JSON file as the data source. I am planning on compiling it as a hybrid app for iOS/Android/Windows with PhoneGap. I just turned on touch emulation inside Chrome and screen recorded to create this.
In the future I will add a feature were you tap the image of the gadget and it will cycle through other product shots. The arrow icon at the bottom will eventually open up a brief overview of the gadget, some ratings and links to purchase it on Amazon or another retailer.
Feedback is always welcome, I love constructive criticism. Also if anyone wants to see the markup and stylesheet I will host it on Github or something.
Portland, Oregon was supposed to be met with blizzard conditions Thursday morning, schools were closed, and it was looking like snowpocalypse was coming, when looking out the window that morning there was nothing - traffic was great! Made this quick little popup complete with live snow effects to let our customers know we were open. You can check it out here http://prophotosupply.com/index-winterweather.htm
