Accessible After Effects
Just wrote a blog post on the Giant Robots blog about animating in After Effects:

It's a beginners guide, as After Effects can be pretty daunting to people that have never used it before. I find it to be a useful tool for prototyping animations, and wanted to try and share some of that knowledge. Hope it's helpful!

Natural Language Reminders
Earlier this year, I designed and built an interface for adding reminders to notes on iOS, using a natural language input interface. A user could speak (via the iOS transcription feature), type (or have the app detect dates and times in a note's text), or select a time with date and time carousel.

The layout was achieved using a column-based subclass of UICollectionViewFlowLayout and a bunch of frame math. I might get around to open-sourcing the code at some point. The images in the example are from Dribbble and Behance.
This was recorded from a running version of the app using QuickTime, then AfterEffected onto a device frame.
