I’ve spent part of the weekend working on this tiny little illustration/animation. I find it a good challenge to go out of my confort zone so I can practice and discover new things. It was inspired by the @[111188:Tamer Koseli]'s work which I love.

Released version is a SVG with CSS animations, very light for the web. To have an idea : this GIF (800x600) is 3370Ko. SVG animated (infinite resolution) will be 29Ko !

I've taken this really simple character I did for a blog post illustration and used him as a subject for animation. I tried my best to keep him very simple in content so that I could focus on the core fundamentals of animation. (12 principals namely)
There are some rough spots (the stretch I wish was a bit snappier) and some real nice lucky spots (like the first little perk move) but I've learned a LOT and I'm ready to move to another animation with this guy this week.
Feedback is welcome of course and here he is with some sound thanks to my friend Jeff
