Animated Logo
I always thought that my logo would be fun to animate, so I finally made it happen by using After Effects. Here's a quick breakdown on how I created it:
- One shape layer containing four vertical strokes with trim paths applied and custom easing via the graph editor
- One shape layer containing four horizontal strokes with trim paths applied and custom easing via the graph editor. I also applied an inverted-style alpha matte mask to create the shape of the ‘K’ and ‘H’
- One shape layer with a solid rectangle that is the width of the main shape. The right paths animate to match the movement of the horizontal strokes. I also applied an alpha matte mask so that the visible shape is a square.
Going forward, I may reuse this for my new website… if that ever happens.

Tablet Menu Interaction
Just playing around with some touch interactions for tablet. Long press (hold) teases the menu out halfway. Swiping opens the menu.

Dribbble Meetup @ Badoo HQ
Hi guys,
So we're throwing a friendly Dribbble Meetup here at Badoo HQ next friday (that's right, the 16th of May) and you're all welcome!
@[30951:Jan Losert] and @[67036:Josh Mitchelmore] made a great team effort to make this cool neon bliss as an invitation and I quickly threw together a neat little site to join the meetup and see all the great folks who you'll be meeting here.

Me VS Dragon
Woohoo!!!
This is my very first shot at using After Effects and creating an animation piece. I know it's not much... but it took me literally an entire day to get this down!!! The character is basically me.. in cardboard armour, shield and sword (because I'm still a noob). I'm still working on completing the next few portions of this animation.
Any suggestions is greatly appreciated. I'm super excited to dive deeper and see what else I can learn and come up with :D
Special thanks to Thought Cafe, whom I'm currently interning with, for teaching and guiding me on how to use After Effects.
