adidas Run Genie - Pair Pods
The adidas Run Genie is a system designed to help you find the perfect pair of shoes for your running style in a few simple steps.
Step Two: Pair Pods & Go for a Run
After creating your Running Profile, the next step is to pair the Run Genie pods to your account, lace up your shoes, and go for a run! A quick run around the block will give the Run Genie enough data to determine your running style.
The Pairing animation needed to be flexible to support longer pairing times, and flow seamlessly into either a success or error state.

Mindful Interactions Exploration
Sit back, put your earphones on and breath!
http://share.framerjs.com/m6o2ebip8zb2/
A while ago I was exploring the concept of “mindful interactions” and I thought I would just share it here.
This concept aims to help people build awareness by training the ability to voluntarily pay attention. On the simplest level of the concept, the user only needs to breath along the animation respecting the time suggested by the animation itself.
As a second step, the app recognises the users’ breathing pattern and helps being aware while slowly matching to the initial animation. As the access with getUserMedia (for microphone access) to prototype for voice interfaces is still very limited, especially on iPhone, I had to simulate it. By switching to 3D Touch, I could at least dynamically communicate how it would sound and feel like.
On the third and last step, the user can finally close his/her eyes and by feeling a vibration pattern he/she can breath according to it. Here I had to fake it once again by using sound feedback (sine wave with Web Audio API) since there was no way to access the motors. It’s vibrating though!
This is no code-wizardry. Happy to hear thoughts and tips.
FREE Touch Indicators
I create animated UI/UX mockups in After Effects regularly to show the dev team @Intrepid Pursuits how transitions should function and it is always a real pain to finish an animation and then have to add a touch indicator at the end of the process, so that it's clear what gesture the user would make to trigger the animation.
I made this kit to help people streamline their workflow when creating UI animations. Now all you have to do is just drag and drop the proper gesture indicators into your comp and you are done!
The touch indicators are fully customizable for every project and easy to implement. I hope it makes some lives easier!
Attached is a .zip that includes all the files you'll need to get started.
Be sure to share this with all those animation junkies in your life!

Daily UI #025 animation
After many hours of research on what the best prototyping tool is and what I already had access to I started learning a little bit about After Effects. I never liked flash because of the timeline and AE was pretty much the same, but I persevered with it and managed to get the basics. Getting the export options right will take time.
Any advice would be appreciated :)
