I started classes again in January, and actually feel like a student again! One of my classes this semester is a motion design class (which I haven't taken / tried before). I was initially pretty intimidated by After Effects, but after toying around with it for a while I am starting to really enjoy it.
This is the first assignment for the class, where we animate a logo. Of course I chose my own, because why not?

An animation for IBM's Smarter Planet series, designed to be shown on their Instagram and GOOD's tumblr.
Tumblr has some pretty harsh gif restrictions, so this Dribbble version has the intended speed and texture.
Experimenting with some loading spinner ideas. Will probably go for something way more subtle but what's Dribbble for if not for posting impractically cool-looking things?

Set of educational cartoons I've been working while on the BT account. Small core team, top people. After quite a few late nights, I got to actually love these little dudes.
We have learned to turn the animation back ;)
One of my new years resolution this year is to learn more about characters and rigging. So.. this is my first attempt with duik and puppet tool.
It's so freakin hard.
But I'll get there,
