Intro Titles for DVD Special Features
This was an intro animation created as part of the concept pitch for the WOODLAWN. DVD/Blu-Ray special features title graphics.
You can see a non-cropped version here.
I took a screenshot from the film and traced over it on multiple sheets of paper. In Photoshop I combined the different tracings together with textures to fake a hand drawn look. The animation was created in After Effects with ink drop stock footage.

Conference Intro Motion Graphics Titles
This segment of animation involved a lot more work than you may think. The text was textured by hand. I created stencils of the entire alphabet in League Gothic, then spray painted over the stencils and scanned them into a computer.
To create a "glitch" look with some of the photos I printed them off and scanned them in multiple times, moving the photo around on the scanner bed as it was scanned in. Photoshop was used to create the "glitch" images and the text. Everything was animated in After Effects.

Dictionary Definition Motion Graphics
I wanted to replicate the dot printing look of a magnified newspaper. I created the texturing in Photoshop, then printed and scanned the text back into the computer so I could further "texturize" it.
Texturing was in Photoshop. Animation and compositing was in After Effects.
